Rick Owens is synonymous with otherworldly and avant-garde. This collection is another mix of seeming opposites: industrial yet ethereal; rugged yet fragile; devoid of color yet bold. As usual, he also pushes our idea of "now," sending his models out with post-apocalyptic versions of a nun's habit. This is what interests Owens. For him, a show is about ideas. Whether the clothes get worn or not, he doesn't really care.
